23 Stupid little rules

Here are the 23 little things that SCoaMF has proposed:

Gun Violence Reduction Executive Actions
Today, the President is announcing that he and the Administration will:
1.    Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
2.    Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
3.    Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
4.    Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
5.    Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
6.    Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.
7.    Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign. 8.    Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety
Commission).
9.    Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns
recovered in criminal investigations.
10.    Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it
widely available to law enforcement.
11.    Nominate an ATF director.
12.    Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
13.    Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
14.    Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
15.    Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.
16.    Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
17.    Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
18.    Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
19.    Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
20.    Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
21.    Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
22.    Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
23.    Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

So the first line of defense will be doctors???

So it seems that SloJoe Biden is giving the Narcissist in Chief a green light to just go ahead and just grab those evil guns from those evil believers in the Second Amendment.

But who cares?

Actually a shit load of people do care and we need to stand together.
The Second Amendment is there to protect the First Amendment. 
I for one do not want to live in a world where only the Military, the Police and Criminals have access to guns.

The J.E.F. lies again about what is going to happen on January 1st.

 Surrounding himself by supporters he presented as typical middle-class taxpayers, Mr. Obama said he hoped to resolve the tax and spending issues now confronting Washington by an end-of-the-year deadline

He and his enablers in the LSM continue to lie about what will happen when the Bush era tax cuts, and the dangerous Simpson-Bowles Plan, both kick into gear next year.

He continues to sell the story of  "reasonable cuts" that he has proposed.  Really?  
And what are they?  
No really what are they?  
Can someone please show me what his plan is?

Just like ObamaCare, he has no plan, he just rides on the coat-tails of Congressional Aides and the K Street suits as they write the plan that spells the downfall of American Capitalism.

Education is lost!

Nice to see that even in Tejas, the leftists are in control of education. 

A program to teach history has a wonderful way of teaching the American Revolution.  The Boston Tea Party is depicted as a TERRORIST PLOT, one in which items of value where destroyed by people who cared little for the rights and property of others. 
This could have been written by an English noble of the era, not an American educator trying to teach facts.  But in the modern age, there are no more facts, there is just opinion.  Teachers do not present facts any more than they give out candy for good behavior, because the power of the left has taken over the entire system.

While I am sure that there are still some teachers who care about truth and facts, I'm afraid that they are more likely then not teaching Math or Music or Gym.  Meanwhile the Social Studies and English teachers preach the doctrine of deconstruction and Howard Zinnian history.

The "Won" strikes again!!
On Friday he gave a victory interview to MTV (what does the M stand for anyway). 
The presumptive "Greatest President Ever" told the 25 people who watch that network that Gay voters are no longer important. 
Yup that's right the Great Evolver had moved back into the corner that says, No Federal Marriage for you! 
He's now a fan of States Rights on tough issues. 
He is such a constant campaigner, that he is still running for something even as a Lame Duck.

The power of the delivery.

This week at The Providence Performing Arts Center where my significant other and I work as ushers, they were hosting the musical version of "Elf".
Okay so what does this have to do with Politics?
Easy.
Think about the movie that came out in 2003.  You know the one starring Will Ferrell, James Caan and Zooey Deschanel?  It's the story of an obnoxiously stupid giant goofball in an elf suit.
But wait?  Was that the story?  Or is the story supposed to be something lighter?
Well in the hands of the singers and dancers of this musical, it is something lighter and more uplifting.
It about a human who grew up thinking he was an elf and was filled with the wonder of life in the North Pole.  He lands in cynical and jaded New York and stands out like a sore thumb.
So did they change the story?  Tweak it,  make it more entertaining for families?
No.  All they did was get did of Will Ferrell.
A man who drips condescension like a boxer drips sweat.
His hatred for the real America and the people who live there is palatable.
His understanding of politics is best illustrated by this foolishness.
He then took it up a notch with this advert that was found on the Obama for America YouTube channel.  What a fucking douche!

Folks I know that some conservative friends of mine like some of his movies but, HE FUCKING HATES PEOPLE WHO AREN'T HIM.

The C.B.O. has released a new report about the upcoming January tax increases.

The report says that the economy will face some "contractions" during 2013.  They are optimistic that things will turn around soon.

"After next year, by the agency’s estimates, economic growth will pick up, and the labor market will strengthen, returning output to its potential level (reflecting a high rate of use of labor and capital) and shrinking the unemployment rate to 5.5 percent by 2018."

Wow 5 % by 2018!
What a bright sunny future we all have. 

Now when I was a teen in the 1970's I remember the economic mantra that Full Employment was 3.5%.  And we are supposed to get happy about 5% SIX FUCKING YEARS down the road???

Well it isn't like Mitt could have stopped the Bush Tax cuts from expiring, before he became POTUS, but nothing good is going to happen with SCoaMF in the Oval Office in January.
